The 2017 men’s futsal team are off to a bumpy start as the Intarmed 2021-2022 team take their first win in the bracket stages, bringing their record to 1-1.
The Intarmed team took advantage of their first possession by bringing the ball up fast, leading to an early score in the first 3 minutes by Jaz Togonon of 2022. 2017, however, brought the same intensity and tried to go for a quick goal themselves, only to find multiple misses and turnovers. Intarmed 2021-2022 played to protect their lead against the aggressive moves of 2017, managing to keep the match 1-0 until the half due to the efforts of goalie Nathan Gan of 2022.
